1st Thursday of Each Month | May – December 2021

10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. via Zoom

Understanding and incorporating racial equity into organizational structures, policies, practices, and day-to-day work is imperative to creating the conditions for young people to thrive.

The Truth and Transformation Training Series is an opportunity for people committed to advancing equity, justice, and well-being to build relationships and deepen their understanding of:

  • The myth of human hierarchy and how it leads to oppressive systems such as racism and adultism, and its implications on organizational culture and community well-being

  • Ant-Racist Restorative Practice, Racial Healing Circles, and other tools to combat systemic racism and curate healing, equitable spaces

  • How to create a safe space that promotes vulnerability and empathy for a more inclusive and identity affirming organizational culture

  • How to demonstrate allyship with young people

This series offers a courageous space for people to learn, engage, and apply content and tools to advance racial equity, amplify youth leadership, and foster healing.

Attached is a flyer with an overview for each of the seven training sessions. We desire for people to attend every session though are grateful for you to participate in as many as you can. Click here to register for the series.
